New Plate Head Proofs Solids and Screens.
Integrity Engineering has unveiled the world's first proofing head that uses screened photopolymer plates instead of a rubber transfer roller. With it, ink technicians can actually pre-flight their inks with plate/anilox combinations comprarable to what will be encountered on press. Perfect Proofers designed to accept this new Print Head will become widely available in early 2008.

Sidewinder Simplifies Proofing Flood Coated Inks
Proofing inks for flood- or spot-coated applications has become very simple with the introduction of the Side Winder attachment for Perfect Proofer® systems. With this option ink technicians can easily reposition stock for a coating pass after any water based or UV ink has been proofed. Delta Es of 1.0 or less are standard. Deltas of 0.5 can be maintained when required.
